Hey there — I’m Yuliy, the craftsman behind Dashko Carpentry.

I first learned carpentry in the 1990s back home, where I completed my apprenticeship in cabinetry and became a certified carpenter.

After many years running my own car shop, I moved to Canada in 2020 to return to what I’ve always loved most — working with wood and creating things that last. This move gave me a second chance to do what truly fulfills me: building with purpose, care, and integrity. I take pride in delivering honest, hands-on work that adds lasting value to homes and communities.

I’m a father of two, an Ironman athlete, and someone who believes in doing the job right the first time. When I’m not building, you’ll find me outdoors with my dog, exploring Ontario’s forests and trails — always inspired by the craftsmanship found in nature itself.
